Once one more edition DIMAQ has participated in the CFIA fair, celebrated in Rennes from 8-10 March. This edition has turned out to be very special as it has celebrated 25 years since its opening in 1998. It is currently considered as the most important event of the agri-food sector in France.
The fair is divided into 3 divisions: Ingredients and PAI, Equipment and Processes and Packaging.
The agri-food sector continues to be the most important economic driving force in the region: Brittany is France’s leading agricultural region and the leading industrial sector in terms of turnover, number of companies and employment (43% of companies and a third of industrial jobs).
In France, the Great West is the leading region in terms of agri-food investment and one of the main European centres.
Transformation activities play an important role, showing interest in new trends, cutting-edge technologies and constant adaptation to current standards. The ACIA therefore plays an essential role in this dynamic, bringing together all the links in the chain with an offer and solutions linked to all the stages of agri-food processing.
